Thai Boy Scouts

From a very young age, Thai boys take boy scout lessons. About one day a week, they will wear the Thai boy scout uniform (picture shown on the left hand side) to school instead of their usual school uniform. Girls will wear something else such as a red cross uniform or girl scout uniform. But the boy scout uniform is usually as shown with a hat as well as a yellow scarf.
Young Thai boys may not know what it actually meant to be a boy scout but they learn all the techniques that a boy scout know. |
