Counting in Thai – from 10 to 100
When counting in Thai, you need to memorize how to say zero to ten in the Thai Language. Then any numbers in multiple of ten up to 100 are easy to say in Thai. You need to know:
- the base 10 or สิบ and
- the number 20 = ยี่ - สิบ.
The rest are just:

For 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90, you just say the number infront, then ’sib’. Another example is given below.

Counting in Thai – from 100 – 1000
Similar to counting in thai from 10 to 100. To count in Thai from 100 to 1,000, you need to learn the word:
- ร้อย (Roi)
This work Roi in Thai means ‘hundred’. So, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 are just:
