The staff at Khum Lanna choose what you will cook, you cannot choose. They already cut and picked all the ingredients for you but they will take you to their garden to show you different plants but you don’t pick them though. If you are worried about flies and hygiene, don’t go to Khum Lanna to learn cooking. There are flies (sometimes alot of flies) on your raw food, cook food and even drinks. But, the people at Khum Lanna did not seem to mind the flies and insects. They are used to them and they will think you are weird for worrying about flies and hygiene.

They will guide you through how to cook about 5-6 dishes including dessert. All you need to do is cut and chop and then fry and stir. They mix the sauce and pure most things making it very easy for you. But, when you try to duplicate the methods elsewhere, it is not easy because you have different ingredients and the book they give you afterwards with ingredients did not show what you did in your class, but something different.
