The Lacquerware store at the Lacquerware Handicraft Village. After the demonstration (5 minutes) and the tour of the so called “Lacquerware Factory” which is just a room and can take only a few minutes, you will be in the biggest room they have full of lacquerware products which they would love for you to buy. In fact, if you look like the kind of tourist who does not buy things, then they would make ‘face’ to show you that they are unhappy that you are wasting their valuable time that they could spend with customers who would buy a lot of things. So, pressure pressure pressure.
There are many products made of Lacquerware to choose from. You will spend much more time browsing through many lacquerware products than you will at the making of lacquerware demonstration (not impressive) and the tour of the lacquerware facility. However, if you miss your chance of buying lacquerware here, you can get them at plenty of places at roughly the same price in Bangkok that come with a guarantee! Also, you can get fake lacquerware products at the Chiangmai Night Bazaar.
