Chiangmai Food
Some people are afraid of Chiangmai food
because they have heard that Northern food is hard to eat. Most
Northern food including Chiangmai food is spicy. In most cases,
traditional Chiangmai food is too spicy for an average Thai
person. If you are travelling to Chiangmai, beware of spicy
Chiangmai food. If you go to local restaurants, be sure to ask
if the food is spicy before you order it.

Apart from Chiangmai food being spicy, you
can find other cuisine easily in Chiangmai nowadays. In the
past, when visiting Chiangmai, Northern Thailand, you will
struggle to find the food that you can eat. Not anymore.
Chiangmai has become such a touristy place that you can find
Japanese food, Italian food, American food, Pizza, Burger King,
McDonald's, Starbucks, and much more in Chiang Mai,
Thailand.
The picture above is Kao Soi which
is one of the easiest dish of Chiangmai food to eat.
You will find Kao Soi (Kao Soy) which is egg noodles in curry
soup in most Thai restaurants in Bangkok and other regions of
Thailand.
If you are staying at a hotel in Chiangmai,
the hotel will most likely have many International cuisine for
you to choose from. The Chedi Chiangmai hotel, for example, has
Italian food, Continental, European, American, Sandwiches, and
Thai. The Chedi Hotel in Chiangmai does not have many Thai
dishes on its menu and the Thai food there is more for Northern
taste than Bangkok taste. Remember if you happen to order spicy
Chiangmai food, you may have a diarrhea afterward.
