The Ocean World at Siam Square in Bangkok is supposed to be one of the largest aquarium in the Southeast Asian region. This Thai aquarium is situation in the heart of Bangkok on one of the busiest streets. The aquarium is called Siam Ocean World and is often known to tourists as the Siam Ocean World in Siam Square, Bangkok. Siam Square is where this Thai aquarium is located. It is one of the business parts of Bangkok. Anyone planning to go to Ocean World in Siam Square Bangkok will be stuck in traffic for a long time especially if you go on Friday, weekends or evenings.

Most people come to Siam Paragon to shop at various stores, not to go to Siam Ocean World aquarium. Thai people, especially, stay away from Siam Ocean World aquarium except kids on field trips.

How big is Siam Ocean World in Siam Square Bangkok?

Siam Ocean World in Siam Square Bangkok plans to be the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia. However,  Siam Ocean World in Siam Square Bangkok has not accomplished that. Many areas of the aquarium have not opened and there are few fish and ocean life compared to other aquarium world wide. It takes about 1 hour to see the whole aquarium, including watching the 4D movie, riding the glassbottom boat and seeing some shows. It costs 450 Thai baht for an adult to enter this Thai aquarium. However if you want to see the 4D movie and ride the glass bottom boat (5 minutes), you can buy a package that costs 650 Thai baht.
