Street Vendors

In the city of Bangkok, there are often street vendors on the streets of Bangkok especially around lunch time or after work to very late at night. These street vendors occupy most of the sidewalks on busy streets that allow them to put their little shop area there. The street vendors try to catch attention of people passing by. There are many different types of items for sale by the street vendors. Most of the stuff, you have to bargain down the price to get a better price. Even Thai people have to bargain.

Street vendors on the streets of Bangkok will sell anything from clothes, food, vegetables, souvenirs, fruit, drinks, and many other types of merchandises.

Should you buy from street vendors?

It depends on your standard. Some people think that anything street vendors sell are dirty because they are out in the open air exposed to pollution, smock, heat, and all sorts of dirt in the air. But, there are people who do not care too much about how clean the merchandises are and would buy from street vendors. Some streets are cleaner than others but overall, if you walk on the street, you will be tempted to buy from some street vendors.
