Thai Words Indicating Time

In the Thai language, words indicating time are used instead of tenses. In the Thai language, there are no verb conjugations. Thai tense markers in the Thai language are used to indicate if the action is in the past, present or future. เวลานี้ (Way Laa Nee) = At this time

ตอนนี้ (Thon Nee) = Now

บัดนี้ (Bud Nee) = now (formal), nowadays

ต่อไปนี้ (Thor Pai Nee) = From now on

ปัจจุบันนี้ (Puj-ju-ban Nee) = Nowadays

Just now

เพิ่งจะ (Pheng Ja) = Just recently

ตะกี้ (Ta Kee) = Just now

เมื่อกี้นี้ (Meuar Kee Nee) = Just now

เมื่อตะกี้ (Meuar Ta Kee) = Just now

เมื่อตะกี้นี้ (Meuar Ta Kee Nee) = Just now (emphasizing that it just just happened)
