Chiangmai has one international airport called the Chiangmai International Airport. If you are visiting Chiangmai from Bangkok, you will have to land at the Chiangmai International Airport which is not far from Chiangmai city. From The Chedi Hotel in Chiangmai, for example, it takes only about 15 minutes by car to get to the Chiangmai International Airport. When departing from the Chiangmai International Airport, you have to check your luggage in the first thing before you even enter the airport. The airport is small so don’t go to your gate until you are about to leave. Below are some pictures of the Chiangmai International Airport.
