Trang Hot Springs
The Trang Hot Springs (bor nam ron, bo nam ron, bonamron or บ่อน้ำร้อน) is located at Mu 7, Tambon Bo Nam Ron. The location of the famous hot spring in Trang is about 10 kilometers from the Kantang province, near Sikao also. If you plan to visit this Hot Springs, be warned that it is not impressive. It is small and rural. There is no impressive hot spring for you to dip in. There are shower areas but you probably will not want to use them. Below are some pictures of the Trang Hot Spring located in Kantang, Thailand. There is not charge to get in to see the Hot Spring but there is a donation booth if you want to donate 10 baht or so.
Why is the Trang Hot Spring famous?
The locals believe that the water in the Trang Hot Spring can cure diseases and skin conditions. So, they bath in the water piped from the hot spring that has a constant temperature of 60 degree Celsius. Some locals, however, dispute this believe.

Although the water in the Hot Spring is clear, you can see green algae underneath. It is pretty gross so if you were hoping to put any part of you in the water, make sure you choose the part of the hot spring with fewer green algae which is hard to find. When visiting the Hot Spring, you can also get a Thai traditional massage which is located in the same complex.
