Thai Banknote
Most people in Thailand use Thai banknotes rather than coins. Each Thai banknote has a picture of the King of Thailand, King Bhumibol Adulyadej. On the top right hand corner is a number of how much the Thai banknote is worth. The bottom left hand corner has the same number but in Thai number. Below are pictures of what each Thai banknote looks like. All Thai banknotes are of the same size (unlike the pictures of the Thai banknotes below – they are not to scale).
What does a Thai banknote look like?
Below are what Thai banknote look like. There used to be 10 baht Thai banknotes but they were replaced by 10 baht coins.
20 Thai baht (about 50 cents in US dollars)

50 Thai baht (about 50 cents in US dollars)

100 Thai baht (about 50 cents in US dollars)

This is the most used Thai banknote.
