Below is a Thailand Chiang Dao map. Chiang Dao is not that far from Chiang Mai city. It takes about less than 2 hours to drive by car from Chiang Mai city to Chiang Dao. Chiang Dao is home to a major Southeast Asian Archaeological site, Chiang Dao cave. When visiting northern Thailand, Chiang Dao and Mae Hong Sorn are often included as part of the Chiang Mai trip in Thailand. Although Chiang Dao is a small rural town in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the Chiang Dao archaeological cave and the Chiang Dao national park attract many tourists a year. The entrance fee to the Chiang Dao cave is only 10 Thai baht.
